Another event falls victim of the weather...

Blakesley Show Cancelled!

19/07/2012
The Jet Stream may at last be moving north where it belongs, and some late summer weather may be on its way to the UK. But this is just too little too late... After a string of disappointments now also the Blakesley show, a great local event where our Club is regularly represented, has been cancelled due to the fact that the crops have not yet been harvested and the fields won't be ready in time.

Hopefully things can only improve from now on, according to the meteorologists... We still have our working weekend to look forward to, plus a few more ploughing matches as well as other events which will hopefully go ahead. A new event has been added to our diary, Richard Cook's Annual Charity Ploughing Match will take place on September the 23rd at Cowley Lodge Farm, Preston Bisset near Buckingham. The event will be in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care. More information and entry forms are available on our diary page.
