The NBVTC visits world's leader in construction machineries

JCB Club Visit

06/05/2014
The fields have been a little bit wet over over the winter for any ploughing to be arranged, but our Club has been busy organising other new events.

A novelty for 2014 has been the introduction of factory visits. Led by committee member Richard Wray, the first of such visit took place on March the 12th to the home of the world leading manufacturer in construction machinery, backhoe loaders and telescopic handlers, JCB. The initiative was very popular, as the group photo below shows, and all places available were promptly snapped.

Next on the agenda for 2014 will be another visit to one of the main constructor of farm machinery in the UK, New Holland in Basildon. The trip is scheduled for the 22nd of October, and again the list of filling up quickly. My name is already on it, as I look forward to seeing where my brother's T7050 was born!!!
