Our Club is turning 10 this year, don't miss the party!
Celebrating 10 years of NBVTC!
06/05/2013
It was October 2003 when a few tractor enthusiasts laid the foundation for what has become a thriving local vintage tractor Club, which today counts over 150 members and draws much interest in the North Buckinghamshire countryside! The NBVTC will be 10 years old this year and to mark the milestone we are organising a special event. The NBVTC "10th anniversaty get together" will take place on July the 20th and 21st at Moulsoe farm by kind permission of Club committee member Chris Singer and his family. There will be a road run and a BBQ, but above all a great opportunity for all Club members and their families to join this event and have a good time together!
We have also decided to create something more to mark this anniversary which will last a lot longer! We are doing a limited edition book about the Club's first decade of activities! There will be only 100 copies and we plan to have it ready by the first Club meeting in September. Club members will have priority. Sandi and I are already hard at work gathering all information and photos. If you have any intersting photo, particularly from the early days of the Club, please do sent it to me by emailing this address. I will post updates about the book as the work progresses.
We all look forward to the July event, but there is more to see and do before that. We have lost Stoke Goldington but there is no way to stop us! A new ploughing match is taking place this coming weekend 11th and 12th of May at Forest farm, Wicken. I hope to see you there in great numbers, the weather forecast is in our favour (crossing my fingers...)!
